PokerStars anuncia WCOOP Boot Camp com US$ 6,5 milhões garantidos e treinamento especial para jogadores

Falta pouco para o início do World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), que será disputado em setembro, mas antes da principal série do calendário do PokerStars, os jogadores terão a oportunidade de entrar no ritmo com o WCOOP Boot Camp. A tradicional série preparatória acontece entre os dias 2 e 17 de agosto e distribuirá mais de US$ 6.500.000 garantidos ao longo de 130 torneios.
O cronograma conta com 65 eventos, todos disputados em dois níveis de buy-in (Low e High), com entradas a partir de US$ 2,20. A proposta é reproduzir a variedade de formatos e modalidades que estarão presentes no WCOOP, permitindo que tanto jogadores recreativos quanto grinders se preparem para uma das principais séries do poker online.
Entre os destaques da programação estão duas edições do Sunday Special. No dia 2 de agosto, o tradicional torneio será disputado no formato Progressive KO, com buy-in de US$ 75 e US$ 300.000 garantidos. Uma semana depois, em 9 de agosto, a competição retorna no formato Mystery Bounty, mantendo o mesmo valor de entrada e a mesma premiação garantida.
O encerramento do WCOOP Boot Camp acontece com os Main Events, realizados a partir de 16 de agosto. A versão Low contará com buy-in de US$ 109 e US$ 500.000 garantidos, enquanto a edição High terá entrada de US$ 1.050 e distribuirá pelo menos US$ 300.000. Além da inscrição direta, o PokerStars disponibilizará satélites classificatórios com entradas a partir de US$ 0,55.
Juntamente com os torneios, a edição deste ano contará com um diferencial voltado ao estudo do jogo. Em parceria com a equipe da BBZ Poker, o PokerStars promoverá sessões gratuitas de treinamento durante as sextas-feiras, nos dias 31 de julho, 7 de agosto e 14 de agosto. Os conteúdos serão comandados pelo fundador Jordan Drummond "bigbluffzinc" e outros integrantes da equipe, conhecida por trabalhar com nomes como Ben Spragg "Spraggy", Lex Veldhuis e Andy Wilson "BowieEffect".
As aulas acontecerão no servidor da BBZ Poker no Discord e, ao término de cada sessão, serão realizados torneios freeroll com senhas divulgadas exclusivamente durante os treinamentos. As premiações serão distribuídas em tickets para o WCOOP, incluindo entradas de até US$ 530 para a principal série do PokerStars.
